A starting point to explore many historical temples and ruins, Habarana is a small town belonging to the Anuradhapura District of Sri Lanka. A hot air balloon ride from Habarana will allow you the chance to witness some of the magnificent jungle areas in the land since the city is also a starting point for many wildlife safaris. The Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks are also of proximity while if you are lucky enough, you can spot herds of elephants during an early morning balloon ride over Habarana.
