Ayurvedic and Herbal
In Sri Lanka Ayurveda medicine is based on the country’s centuries old treasure trove of indigenous knowledge base, natural environment and cultural repertory. According to archeological evidence, human civilisation dates back 30,000 years. Cave men of that age domesticated many wild plant varieties and used them for food and medicines.

Ransaru Wildcrafted Dehydrated Ranawara Flowers Pack
Known among locals as Ranawara and botanically as Cassia auriculata, this is a much-branched shrub with yellow flowers and darker veins. The Ranawara plant has been used as a herbal medicine for centuries and is used for various ailments as well as to enhance a clear skin complexion.
Our Ranawara flowers have been foraged from their wild habitat and packed under hygienic conditions while the dehydrating process is done under low temperatures to ensure all their nutrients are unharmed and intact.
You can simply add some hot water to a few flowers, let them infuse for a few minutes and drink it as a herbal concoction. You can even add some crushed flowers to your favourite porridge or smoothie in the morning.
Ranawara is known to cleanse your body and reduce body heat, help with skin ailments, excessive bleeding, blood sugar control, excessive thirst, and also help with heartburn, gastric attacks, and bowel disorders. The dried flowers are mainly used as an alternative for tea.
