Experience Your guided experience will begin at your hotel in Kosgoda, where you will be picked up by our English-speaking chauffeur/guide at 6:00 AM in the morning in an air-conditioned vehicle. The travel time from Kosgoda to Sinharaja takes approximately 2 hours or slightly more, while it is advised that you bring a packed breakfast without stopping en route for a break.
Once we reach the entrance of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve, you start off your guided tour that will last for approximately 4 hours. You will walk through large forest areas and have the opportunity to encounter rare and exotic flora, birds, and butterflies making it a much-loved tropical paradise experience. The Lakpura guided tour provides guests in-depth details regarding the rich ecosystem of this rainforest, promising a day full of excitement and calmness.
After the completion of the 4-hour guided tour, you will be treated to an authentic local lunch that will leave your taste buds satisfied. We then head back to Kosgoda in the air-conditioned vehicle and drop you back at your hotel, ending the tour.
